Cohort 11

Finishing up Green City Force means the same thing to me as it did in the beginning: a new direction with a different attitude. I chose to become a Corps Member in Green City Force because I didn’t like the repetition of being home eating, playing video games, and sleeping. I wanted to change my habits and gain some job experience, since I had little to none, and the only other experience I had besides GCF was a SYEP job. I’ve learned a lot during my time as an Energy Corps Member. My plans after GCF are to go straight into college. I aim to stay in a creative direction that I’m passionate about and hope to make great money in the future because of it. I’d like to thank my mom, because if she wasn’t as pushy and demanding that I get up and go to the appointments, I wouldn’t have gone through one of the greatest experiences of my life (so far). And lastly, an honorable mention to the highly driven Tanaeja Wright who uplifted me through my lowest, highest, and in-between points in the program.
