Before GCF I was unemployed. No jobs were hiring me, and I had dropped out of trade school because I wasn’t interested at the time. That’s when my neighbor spoke to me about the program, and that’s when I called. Green City Force was my first job ever and I learned a lot about the City. The most important thing I learned throughout the six months was doing door-to-door outreach and talking to residents about why it is important to recycle. I would like to thank Precious and Rosalba for believing I could do it and helping me put my best foot forward. I would also like to thank Stephanie and Aram for feeding us knowledge during Green City Academy days. After the term, I see myself going back to school and gaining even more knowledge.
