Announcing the Launch of the Green City Mobility Fund!

At Green City Force we make an ongoing commitment to graduate success. This Giving Tuesday, we’re kicking off the Green City Mobility Fund to support our alumni with the help they need to overcome the mobility-related barriers to employment they face after their service term. With your support, we can help graduates get to where they’re going.
Whether it’s a subway ride to a job interview, or driver’s education to get a license, your contribution will directly enable a Green City Force graduate to take the next step in their career. While many of us don’t drive in NYC, and are privileged not to have to own a car, lacking a driver’s license can be a major barrier to employment in the fields of land improvement, energy efficiency and solar energy installation, which take our alumni across the five boroughs. Access to mobility is easy to take for granted for most New Yorkers; for many of the City’s at-risk youth, transportation access is the difference between unemployment and a career.
Donate through Facebook on #GivingTuesday (11/28) and your gift may be matched, 1-to-1, by Facebook and Paypal! Please donate early, because limited matching funds are awarded on a first-come basis starting at 8am.

Support us with a donation on #Giving Tuesday.  Together we can seed our Mobility Fund with $5,000.
