Just coming out of high school with limited options and a simple job, I felt stuck. I found my day-to-day activities filled with finding something to do that I didn’t feel was a waste of time. I came across Green City Force and instantly became enthralled with the idea of preserving public housing. During my term in GCF I learned many important things from my fellow Corps Members and Team Leaders. The most important of all was perseverance. The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of others, but those who win battles we know nothing about. You have to be able to walk through life with your head held high and Green City Force helps you do just that. I would like to show my appreciation to the entire GCF staff for their ongoing love, support, and motivation. You guys are highly appreciated.
