This year Green City Force (GCF) continued our tradition of hosting Harvest Festivals at the Farms at NYCHA! As the growing season comes to a close, the local community is invited out to a celebration of their farm and the NYCHA AmeriCorps Members and volunteers who make it possible. The events include music, dancing, healthy snacks, cooking demonstrations, arts and crafts, face painting, a photo booth, kids activities like sack races and apple bobbing and raffle prizes for adults.
