Today is International Suicide Prevention Day- which the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) describes as a day to “focus public attention on the needs of people at risk of suicide, suicide attempt survivors and people bereaved by suicide, with diverse activities to promote understanding about suicide and highlight effective prevention activities.” (https://iasp.info/wspd2018/)

Suicide is a difficult subject to address, but a necessary one. As a community of co-workers, it is essential that we take time to understand suicide and how to connect others to vital resources.  Please take the time to read these articles attached as each provides valuable insight on this important topic.
