Prior to joining Green City Force, I had no sense of how to get where I wanted to in life. I had been looking for employment for over a year but my lack of experience and raw grit made me an undesirable worker. Green City Force was a wonderful learning and honing opportunity and I doubt I’d be where I am today without my time as a Corps Member of Cohort 16.
To my employer: I have not only gained skills and experience in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors. Additionally, I have developed the grit to deal with difficult or challenging work scenarios and manage varying social climates.
