I could honestly say that Green City Force really has changed my life for the better. Before joining GCF I was actually doing nothing with my life. It felt like I didn’t have a purpose to fight for success anymore. There was a time I told myself I should quit. Then a Green City Force team leader, Lawrence, told me about the program and recruited me. Applying to Green City Force has to be one of the greatest choices I ever made in my life. As a Green City Force Corps Member I have learned multiple hands-on and job-readiness skills. As a Clean Energy Corps Member I helped introduce the Love Where You Live Challenge to the Farragut development, conducting outreach to inform tenants on energy efficiency and how to change their energy and water usage. Becoming a Green City Force Corps Member has been a great experience for me.
